Privacy Policy
The short version
- We don't collect your personal data. There is no account, no sign-up and no Babyleave server that receives what you type.
- Your plan stays on your iPhone. Due dates, salaries, choices and checklist progress are stored on the device only.
- No tracking, no analytics, no ads. We don't use advertising identifiers or third-party analytics, and we never sell or share data.
- Purchases are handled by Apple, and verified through RevenueCat with an anonymous ID.
This policy explains what the Babyleave app ("Babyleave", "the app") does with information. Babyleave is developed by David Levi, Panama ("we", "us"). Contact: nikoslevi18@gmail.com.
1. Information you enter in the app
To build your plan, you can enter things like your country or region, the due date or birth date, the number of children, each parent's employment type, monthly salary and months of insurance, and the choices you make (start dates, how leave is split, which items on the checklist are done). If you use "My country isn't listed", you can also enter basic leave rules yourself.
All of this is stored locally on your iPhone (in the app's private storage) and is used only to calculate your plan on the device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. We have no server that could receive it.
You stay in control: you can change or erase it at any time in Settings → Delete all my data, and deleting the app removes it from the phone. Like other app data, it may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups of the device if you have those turned on; those backups are managed by Apple and by you, not by us.
2. Reminders (notifications)
If you turn on deadline reminders, the app asks for permission to show notifications and schedules them locally on your iPhone with the system's notification scheduler. There is no push server and no device token is sent anywhere. You can turn reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.
3. PDF summaries
The PDF summary is created on your iPhone. It only leaves the device if you choose to share it (for example by email or AirDrop) using the iOS share sheet. What happens to it after that is up to you and the service you share it with.
4. In-app purchase (Babyleave Pro)
Babyleave Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your name, email address, Apple ID or payment details.
To confirm and restore purchases, the app uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.), a service that validates App Store purchases. When the app checks or makes a purchase, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated by the app (not linked to your name or Apple ID by us), the App Store transaction and receipt information (product, price, currency, store country, purchase date) and basic technical data needed to answer the request (such as the app version and device platform). This information is used only to provide and restore your purchase. It is not used for tracking or advertising. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.
In App Store terms, this is the only data category the app is associated with: Purchases (purchase history), used for app functionality and not linked to your identity and not used to track you.
5. What we don't do
- No account, login or email collection.
- No analytics, crash-reporting or attribution SDKs, and no advertising or ad SDKs.
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no use of the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- No access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data.
- We do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we don't have it.
6. Network use
The country rules are built into the app, so planning works offline. The current version connects to the internet only for the in-app purchase (Apple and RevenueCat) and when you open an official source link, which opens in your browser. A future version may download updated leave rules as a public file from our website; such a request would contain no personal data, and this policy would be updated first.
7. This website
babyleave.pages.dev is a static website hosted by Cloudflare Pages. It uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect against abuse; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
8. Children
Babyleave is a planning tool for adults who are expecting or have a baby. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live).
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/EEA and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Because the data you enter stays on your device, you can exercise these rights directly in the app (edit or "Delete all my data") or by deleting the app. For anything related to purchases, contact us and, where relevant, Apple. You can also contact your local data-protection authority.
10. Security
Your plan is protected by your iPhone's own security (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID and iOS data protection). Connections to Apple and RevenueCat are encrypted (HTTPS).
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect. Material changes will also be mentioned in the App Store release notes.
